So excited to be working with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) as their External Consultant for the re-writing of their core document, the Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions.
Last updated in 2018, so much has happened since then, including the Covid-19 pandemic, many more practitioners working online and the rapid emergence of artificial intelligence, which is also impacting the delivery of therapy. The new Ethical Framework, which will draw more heavily on the idea of relational ethics, is currently in development and part of an ongoing consultation with BACP members. Watch this space as things are made available.
