coach training: want to know more...
I am moving into semi-retirement but have not put myself 'out to grass' quite yet. One of the exciting changes I made for myself over the last few years was to add coaching to my existing psychotherapy practice. Rather than just distinct activities (which I can offer), I tend to integrate the two into a powerful and bespoke way of working - an opportunity to 'look back' and make sense of things that might cause us difficulty or distress, while also 'looking forward' to the things we can change.

With my friend and colleague, Nicola Forshaw (a highly experienced trauma psychotherapist and long-standing coach), we have launched insightive-education - offering coach training for existing counsellors, psychotherapists and similar therapeutic practitioners who also wish to add coaching into their work.

The course is an Accredited programme with the Association for Coaching, and leads to membership as an Individual Accredited Coach. Do have a good look at the insightive-education.com website and get in touch if it speaks to your professional future too.
