Board and Trustee Experience
A bit about my work on Boards, as a Trustee and Chair

Board and Trustee Experience
I have worked in third-sector governance for many years. I became a Trustee on the Board for the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), where I remained for 6 years.
For 5 of those years I was Chair of the Association, leading on the strategic development for the Association, as well as re-designing the governance structure and developing a delegated committee structure. I was additionally a Director of BACP Enterprises.
I served as a Trustee with COMPASS, a community counselling charity in Liverpool. I hold a Board Advisory position for colleges and universities for the Charlie Waller Trust, for Jonathan's Trust, as well as a Clinical Advisory role on the Advisory Board for CALM (a national mental health charity), and previously the Listening Place (a mental health charity for suicidal people).
I have offered advice and guidance for various third sector and start-up organisations, including Samaritans, Circles Healthcare, Relate, the Icarus Trust and the Charlie Watkins Foundation.
